About Us
Formally established as a corporation in 2007, Frequency Sound evolved into a company by a collaborative effort on the part of three gifted individuals with extremely diverse backgrounds.
Richard Gadbury has worked as a Professional Sound Engineer for over 22 years. He has mastered the art of live audio production, and has been exposed to the various facets of sound. Ricky, as he is affectionately called, has had the privilege of working with artists and musicians such as Philip Bailey, Ricky Lawson, Shanice Wilson, Darrel Coley, J Moss, and a host of others. Another fascinating aspect of his work stems from his “dancing days” on Soul Train. He now shares his love of music by spinning Oldies-But-Goodies, Gospel, Neo-Soul, and Jazz at special events across the country, and even internationally. Ricky serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Frequency Sound.
Noreen Bellot has her beginnings in music since her high school days in the Caribbean on her hometown island, Dominica. She migrated to the United States in the Early 90’s, to pursue educational and musical goals and has proven herself to be a perfectionist in the music industry. After working in the Caribbean with many bands as a guitarist in her youth, she moved to Los Angeles in her teens, and for the last 18 years has worked with musical geniuses such as Frank McComb and Karen Briggs, and highly acclaimed bands such as Angaza. Today, Noreen is one of the most respected Musical Directors in the industry, specializing in Gospel Music. She is currently the Music Director at Maranatha Community Church. Her skills as a guitarist speak for themselves, and her gentle nature but stern leadership places her at the top of the game. Noreen is the Chief Executive Officer of Frequency Sound.
Lester Baron has been in the music industry for over 10 years and his roots come from doing sound engineering in Caribbean churches. He moved to Los Angeles in the 90’s and expanded his horizons by becoming a promoter, from putting on private events to throwing others as large as the UCLA Jazz Reggae Festival. He also Emcee’s and Stage Manages many large Shows and Festivals, but in recent times has steered his way into Sound Engineering. Having worked with many top artists in the industry such as Beenie Man, India Arie, Nasio Fontaine, and Poncho Sanchez, Lester knows what it takes to make artists happy. Thus, he applies this knowledge to his sound engineering work and strives for perfection every time. He serves as the Director of Public Relations of Frequency Sound.
